Having three students getting ready for college was overwhelming. This concise book is a life-saver. It goes from getting students aware (early enough in high school to effectively be able to do something about it) to what they need to get into a college of their choice, to making them aware of awards and requirements that make them stand out of the hundreds of college applications. I didn’t think the would read it, but it is so short and to the point, they actually did read it and are already using the many recommendations. I’m getting a second book to give to their high school counselors who really aren’t able to offer much help.
